The Bhagat Singh Memorial Foundation in Pakistan expresses concern about the rise in the Kartarpur Corridor’s admission fee.

Chandigarh: Imtiaz Rasheed Qureshi, Chairman of the Bhagat Singh Memorial Foundation Pakistan, has expressed his displeasure with the increase in the cost of entering the Kartarpur Corridor from Rs.200 to Rs.400 for Pakistani devotees.

Qureshi, a lawyer and social activist, is also seeking Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s innocence in court because his name did not appear in the FIR on the basis of which he and his associates – Rajguru and Sukhdev – were hanged. He has also advocated for the renaming of Shadman Chowk as Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk and the production of a postage stamp honouring him.

Qureshi condemned the Evacuee Trust Pakistan’s decision to raise the entry cost to the Kartarpur Corridor for Pakistani citizens from Rs 200 to Rs 400, and claimed the directives may be revoked if the fee is raised.

It may be recalled that His Excellency Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff, opened the Bhagat Singh Memorial Foundation Pakistan on November 9, 2019, in response to a demand, said Qureshi, adding that the people of Pakistan and India have become closer, while hatred has diminished and love has flourished, and the era of difference of opinion is almost over.

“We urge the Pakistani government to reverse the rise in entry fee prices and make them completely free for all visitors,” he added

Amid rumours of Imran’s assassination in Pakistan, high alert in Islamabad. Khan’s house security beefed up overnight.

Islamabad: Amidst the ongoing political turmoil in Pakistan, the atmosphere has been heated by the rumour of the assassination of former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday. As soon as this news spread, the Islamabad Police Department has come on high alert. A police spokesman said that Section 144 has already been imposed in Islamabad and public meetings have been banned.

Security has been beefed up at the gala, the luxurious home of Imran Khan located in Islamabad. Police said security forces have deployed special security at Bani Gala. However, the police has not been given information about Khan’s whereabouts. As per the order of the District Magistrate, curfew has been imposed in the area.

Islamabad Police says that they will provide full security to Imran Khan and expect help from his team as well. On the other hand, Imran Khan’s nephew Hassan Niazi says that if anything happens to the former Prime Minister, it will be considered an attack on Pakistan. We will respond to it in an aggressive manner that those behind it will regret. Imran Khan has been advised many times to use a bulletproof jacket and vehicle during the rally.

Fawad Chaudhry, who was a minister in the Imran government, had told that Khan is coming to Islamabad on Sunday. Chaudhary had also said in April that the country’s security agency had told about the conspiracy to kill Imran Khan. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Faisal Wawda also made similar claims that a conspiracy was hatched to assassinate the Pakistani PM for refusing to “sell the country”.

Former minister and PTI member Fawad Chaudhry has also expressed suspicion of Imran Khan’s murder many times.

A few days ago, Imran Khan had expressed the possibility of his murder. Khan had said that his life is in danger. There are some people inside and outside Pakistan who want to kill him. “I know all those people. I have recorded a video and kept it in a safe place. If I am killed, this video will reveal the names of all these people,” said Khan. Imran Khan has said many times in the past that his life is in danger. Before being ousted from power, he had said that he had strong evidence that his life was in danger.

US President Biden taken to a safe house in Delaware after an illegal plane violated airspace

Washington, DC: After a jet breached the airspace above his holiday home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, US President Joe Biden was taken to a safe house in the little seaside town.

According to media sources, Biden’s convoy rushed away from his home and into a local fire station, when an SUV carrying the president drove inside the facility and the Secret Service began evacuating the area. “The US Secret Service (USSS) will issue a statement in the near future. All indications are that a tiny private plane entered restricted airspace by mistake, and preventive precautions were taken. The President and his family were not in danger “According to a White House official.

The president and first lady were evacuated, according to the official, and are currently backed at their home.

“Shortly before 1 p.m. today, a privately owned aircraft entered restricted airspace over Rehoboth Delaware after inadvertently entering a guarded area,” said Anthony Guglielmi, Chief of Communications for the United States Secret Service (USSS).

“The plane was escorted out of the restricted airspace right away. The pilot was not on the right radio channel, was not following the NOTAMS (Notice to Airmen) that had been submitted, and was not following published flight instructions, according to preliminary investigation. The pilot will be interviewed by the US Secret Service “he stated

Although precautionary security measures were implemented, the protectee was not in any danger.

An unarmed Russian Air Force plane flew low over the US Capitol, Pentagon, CIA headquarters, and Joint Base Andrews earlier in August 2017. According to CNN, the flyover was part of the Treaty on Open Skies, which permits military aircraft from the United States, Russia, and other countries to perform aerial observation flights above the 34 member nations’ military locations. Citing law enforcement source, CNN had reported that the plane also over flew Camp David, the Presidential retreat in the Catoctin Mountains, the Trump National Golf Course in Virginia and Mount Weather, one of the US government’s secret relocation bunkers.
